The Activity and Interest Groups are a benefit of CFUW membership.

This is a wonderful way for our members to network, have fun and support each other! Many groups remain small so they can be accommodated in people’s homes. Some groups are very popular and we will work with members to establish new groups as needed.

Brief but Spectacular Reading Group

Explore the classics of world literature through fiction, non-fiction, essays and plays. Emphasis is on shorter readings. We use the Harvard Classics as our resource. (Available on-line) New members welcome!

4th Tue Time Flexible | Shirley Lucyk & Mary Wilson-Smith
Each month we will focus on a theme or an author. Example: Women and Science Fiction. We all choose whatever science fiction book we like, written by a woman or with a woman as the central character. At our meeting we will each tell the others about the 12 of 14 woman we selected. Another month we might choose women who were the first to do something: First to scale Everest, Fly from London to New York, etc.

Foodies
