The Activity and Interest Groups are a benefit of CFUW membership.

This is a wonderful way for our members to network, have fun and support each other! Many groups remain small so they can be accommodated in people’s homes. Some groups are very popular and we will work with members to establish new groups as needed.

ARTS & CULTURE

FLORA & FAUNA HIKING GROUP

Hiking in the local hills with special attention to the flora and fauna. Hiking boots and experience required.

LIGHT HIKING

Enjoy 2-3 hour moderately paced hikes with some elevation. Members take turns leading a hike in Victoria & surrounding area. Hiking boots or sturdy shoes are required. New members welcome!

MODERATE HIKING

This ‘rain or shine’ hiking group of meets for 2-3 hour local hikes with elevations of 250 - 500 M. Please bring lunch. Steady paced hikes with beautiful vistas. Hiking boots & reasonable fitness are required. New members welcome!
