The Activity and Interest Groups are a benefit of CFUW membership.

This is a wonderful way for our members to network, have fun, and support each other! Many groups remain small so they can be accommodated in people’s homes. Some groups are very popular and we will work with members to establish new groups as needed.

Get together for fun, relaxation and inspiration as we continue and revive "Slow Stitching." Bring knitting, quilting, embroidery, tapestry, cross-stitching, crocheting, tatting or any kind of handiwork and meet regularly to enjoy stitching together a new like-minded sorority.

This is a group for you if you are in College or University or actively engaged in your career. We are presently meeting once a month, or once every two months as a pub night or alternatively as hosted by one of the group's members.

Hiking in the local hills with special attention to the flora and fauna. Hiking boots and experience required.

Enjoy a slow-paced, walk on smooth ground (not rocky or rooty) with a moderate elevation.

LIGHT HIKING
1st Tue 10:00 AM
Enjoy 1 1/2 - 2 hours light hikes with varying degrees of elevation. Members take turns leading a hike in Victoria & surrounding area. The leader will describe the hike and note whether boots and/or poles are recommended.

- country-specific discussions

- communications while away: SIM cards, WiFi, phone plans, etc.
