The CFUW Mentorship Program has been developed to provide students with opportunities for continuous learning, skill development, and exposure to a broader professional network. Students are supported to explore leadership opportunities, career development options and transitions from school to the workplace.
Students apply directly to CFUW Victoria and are sent the option of three different mentors to choose from. Once the matching process is complete, students and mentors establish a meeting process that is mutually acceptable. Over the year mentorship partners generally commit to 8 to12 meetings either in person, by phone, e-mail, or Skype.
While geographic barriers may mean that online meetings are necessary, CFUW Victoria highly encourages mentorship partners to hold meetings in the most personal way possible.
